One of the big problems with right vs left politics is that folks are so polarized that scoring points is more important to them than accuracy.
Take this post on Venezuela, for example. It purports to describe the current plight of Venezuela, but is way off base.
The situation in Venezuela is, plain and simple, not as described: It is much worse. Chavez was a monster. Maduro is a monstrous idiot who was over-employed as a bus driver.
World powers like Russia and China back Maduro because he destabilizes the hemisphere. Others, including the US, have called for Maduro to be ousted.
Could it be that the time for talk is past? The screws cannot be tightened too tightly on Maduro. Turn up the heat, President Trump. Take down this coward and murderer.
